DHARAMSHALA/SHIMLA- Unfazed by BJP's recent debacles in Karnataka and Himachal assembly polls, BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda outlined the party's scorecard and took a swipe at the opposition parties including Congress to queer a pitch for the coming 2024 Lok Sabha Polls.

Addressing a jubilant crowd, Nadda proudly announced that the BJP has established an astounding 887 offices across the country, with 502 completed and 166 still in progress. Notably, these offices are never closed and remain accessible to party workers 24x7.

While Congress termed the rally a "thinly  attended show of the so-called biggest party  in the biggest district", but Nadda launched his tirade against the Congress without taking swipe at the Sukhu government in Himachal Pradesh.

Nadda claims BJP workers feel pride  as the party now boasts a staggering 18 crore members, solidifying its position as the largest political party globally.

He criticized other parties, particularly Congress and CPIM, for joining hands in electoral alliances, questioning as to how the duo have  abandoned their political principles.

Underlining the BJP's commitment to its ideological foundations, Nadda highlighted the party's resolution at Palampur to construct a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.

He attributed the temple's imminent completion to the unwavering determination of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Recalling the past, Nadda pointed out the BJP' has maintained its perseverance in the face of ridicule.

While the Gandhi family mocked the party's aspirations to become a nuclear power in the 60s, the BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, successfully conducted nuclear tests in Pokhran in 1998.

Nadda also praised the BJP's economic progress, catapulting India from the tenth to the fifth-largest global economy.

Nadda highlighted the BJP's extensive organizational strength, with booth presidents and committees established across 6.80 lakh booths in the country.

With 303 Lok Sabha MPs and 1385 MLAs, the BJP currently governs 15 states, showcasing its formidable presence.

But Nadda chose to ignore its decisive debacle at the hands of the Congress in a politically significant state in South India that has now made "South India as BJP-mukt".

Drawing a stark contrast between the BJP and other parties, Nadda claimed that the BJP operates with a focus on service, good governance, and the welfare of the poor, while other parties remain family-centric.

He proudly declared that in the BJP, even an ordinary worker can aspire to become the national president, chief minister, or prime minister.

Taking aim at the Congress party, Nadda juxtaposed their era of scandals with the BJP's era of schemes and policies.

He declared that while Congress tarnished the BJP's reputation, the BJP's governance stands as a shining testament to its bright spot in history.

Nadda also emphasized the BJP's focus on infrastructure development.

He lauded the extensive road network in Noorpur Kangra and highlighted ongoing work on the Bilaspur Leh railway line.

He commended the central government's efforts in constructing 74 airport terminals, ensuring national security with 13,525 kilometers of border roads, and constructing 328,000 kilometers of rural roads.

Nadda criticized the opposition parties for becoming "mega shopping malls of hatred," devoid of any constructive agenda.

He condemned the Congress party for undermining India's dignity and cultural heritage, urging the crown prince of Congress(Referring to Rahul Gandhi)  to apologize to the nation for supporting those who promote divisive ideologies.

Meanwhile, Minister Anurag Thakur lambasted the Congress party's false promises, while Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur criticized the current Congress government in Himachal Pradesh for mismanagement and the deterioration of institutions.

State President Dr Rajiv Bindal also slammed the state government for closing down offices and renaming the previous BJP government's schemes and works

The rally concluded with a call to action from Nadda, urging party workers to unite and pledge their commitment to making India a developed nation during this transformative era.

BJP also hold its Core group meeting in Hamirpur to strategise on the coming Lok Sabha Polls as the BJP had lost HP assembly polls in 2022 and subsequent Shimla municipal corporation elections recently to the ruling Congress.

Nadda also met with the former Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal along with his son Anurag Singh Thakur.

The meeting was attended by  BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal, National Vice President Saudan Singh, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, Former Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, State Incharge Avinash Rai Khanna, Co-incharge Sanjay Tandon, Organization General Secretary Siddharthan, former State President Suresh Kashyap, Satpal Satti, former Minister Dr. Rajeev Sehjal, former Assembly Speaker Vipin Parmar, State General Secretary Rakesh Jamwal, Trilok Jamwal, Trilok Kapoor and Harsh Mahajan.
