Shimla, December 4: PCC President and former MP Pratibha Singh has called upon all Congress leaders, former PCC office bearers, frontal organizations, and party departments to make the December 11 event in Bilaspur a historic occasion.

The program will mark two years of the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh, and Singh urged everyone to work unitedly and ensure maximum public participation.

Speaking about the event, Pratibha Singh said, "The Congress government will present its two-year performance record to the people and expose the conspiracies hatched by the BJP. This is an opportunity to showcase how our government has delivered, despite challenges."

She highlighted how the previous BJP government derailed the state's economy, and this failure will be brought to light during the program.

"Our Congress government faced numerous challenges, including natural calamities, without any financial help from the Centre. Yet, we stood by the affected people and provided them relief, which is a testament to our commitment," she said.

Singh also accused the BJP of attempting to destabilize the Congress government.

"From imposing unnecessary assembly bypolls to spreading misinformation, the BJP has done everything to mislead the public. But they failed, and the people stood with us," she added.

She assured that the state government remains committed to fulfilling its poll guarantees, despite the lack of financial assistance from the Centre.

"The BJP is busy serving its political interests at the cost of the state's welfare, which is unfortunate," Singh said, urging the opposition to respect the people's mandate.
