Dharamshala: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President, Jagat Prakash Nadda, addressed the party rally here  highlighting India's transformation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.

It was his first big rally in his home state ahead of Lok Sabha elections after BJP suffered debacle in the 2022 State Assembly elections. 

Nadda emphasized the positive changes since 2014, praising Modi for turning India into a strong and decisive nation. He commended the government's achievements, including the construction of the Ram Temple and the abrogation of Article 370.

Nadda criticized the opposition, particularly Congress, accusing them of not addressing separatist demands within their ranks.

He highlighted the BJP's commitment to development and self-reliance, contrasting it with what he labeled as the Congress's history of false promises and divisive politics.

In his speech, Nadda praised PM Modi for honoring senior BJP leader LK Advani with the Bharat Ratna and urged the public to support the BJP government in upcoming elections.

Nadda, delivered a  speech laced with praises of PM Modi at Zorawar Singh Stadium in Dharamshal.

He underscored the significant changes in India's trajectory under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership since 2014.

Nadda highlighted key accomplishments, including the construction of the Ram Temple, the abrogation of Article 370, and the decisive approach towards national security, such as surgical strikes and air strikes on terrorism.

He praised the BJP government for its dedication to development, citing the completion of the Indian Institute of Management in Sirmaur at a cost of Rs 400 crore and the initiation of the cath lab in AIIMS, Bilaspur.

The BJP President took a dig at the opposition, especially Congress, accusing them of not addressing separatist demands within their ranks.

Nadda expressed gratitude to PM Modi for conferring the Bharat Ratna upon senior BJP leader LK Advani, lauding both Advani and Atal Bihari Vajpayee for their selfless service to the country.

Nadda also focused on the government's welfare schemes, such as the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, and Jan Dhan Yojana.

He provided detailed statistics, stating that under the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, free food was provided to 80 crore people, lifting 25 crore people above the poverty line.

Nadda emphasized the empowerment of women through various initiatives like Ujjwala Yojana, Ujala Yojana, Saubhagya Yojana, and Mudra Yojana.

Encouraging public support for the BJP government in upcoming elections, Nadda concluded his speech by urging voters to choose Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the third time, emphasizing the country's continued development under his leadership.
