Election Rally in Manali: Vikramaditya Singh Targets Kangana, Says "Kangana is Only Ambitious and Money-Hungry....
MANALI: Congress candidate from the Mandi parliamentary constituency and Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh sharply criticized Kangana Ranaut today.
He stated that politics requires a lot of time for public service, which Kangana doesn't have. Taking a dig, Singh said, "On June 4, Kangana's entire film shoot will be packed up."
Vikramaditya Singh accused Kangana of never identifying herself as a daughter of Himachal in her interviews.
"Today she owns a big house in Manali, but she has no love for the people here. During the disaster, she neither helped anyone nor checked on them," he said.
Singh also revealed that when the previous BJP government offered her the position of state ambassador, Kangana demanded 45 lakh rupees per day.
In his election rallies in Salong Nala, Jagatsukh, and Manali, Singh attacked the BJP for sidelining their senior leaders and fielding a controversial actress. "Our religion and culture do not accept someone who is even a cow butcher," he remarked.
Vikramaditya Singh spoke about his grand vision, saying he wants to make Manali globally renowned as a tourism destination. "After becoming an MP, my goal is to make this parliamentary constituency number one in the country," Singh said.
He praised the promptness of the government during the disaster and mentioned that the Congress government in the state provided OPS to employees and a respect allowance of 1500 rupees to women.
Singh also prioritized opening a medical college and a nursing college in Kullu district. Additionally, the construction of tunnels at Jolori Pass and Bhugu Pass is on his agenda.
During the rally, Manali MLA Bhuwaneshwar Gaur stated that Vikramaditya Singh would win the Mandi parliamentary constituency with a huge margin.
"The BJP tried to destabilize the Congress government in the state, but now they will face a crushing defeat in these elections," Gaur said.
Jitu Patwari MP Congress leader also criticized the BJP, saying they do not discuss issues but politicize the Ram Temple.
"The construction of the Ram Temple happened after a court decision, and the locks were opened by the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi," Patwari said.
He claimed that the INDIA alliance government is coming to power in the country, and Vikramaditya Singh will be given a major responsibility at the center.
