Nadda Hails Modi's Achievements, Attacks INDI Alliance in Himachal Rallies in his bid to create euphoria for Modi as Himachal goes to poll on June 1...
NURPUR/CHAMBA/SOLAN: BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed his first three public rallies in Kangra, Chamba, and Solan, made his bid to create "euphoria for Modi" by the much-talked about Viksit Bharat slogan adressing the crowd in Himachal, where the farmers are facing crop failures and none of the parties offer an olive branch to over 90 per cent of population crying for some dignified assured life security.
The parties talked about Sarkari babus, their pension but nothing for the people who have no sarkari employment and depend solely on crops and labour in private sector.
Like all high profiled politicians Nadda continued to be inaccessible to commonman and hence he remained far removed from the reality on the ground in this mountain state.
Nadda airdashed in his swanky chopper here at the venues almost caged in his Z + high security and addressed a series of three rallies.
He repeatedly cited PM Modi's achievements of 10 years, sidestepping BJP candidates in fray and BJP'S agenda for the flood- battered Himachal Pradesh where the farmers have been facing crop failures and huge losses to their properties and farms.
The state where the unemployed youth have no hope of getting jobs as the unemployment rate is hitting an alltime high.
Nadda's heavy dose on Viksit Bharat in Himachal sounds only hollow as thr prices fertilisers, pesticides have hit an all time high with the farmers including the apple growers facing a bleak future.
Nadda didn't talk about the issue of doubling farmers income as BJP had promised, greenfield airport project in Mandi, pending arrears of Himachal from the neighboring states and import duties on apple.
He claimed a victory for the BJP in the upcoming elections and asserting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would secure a third consecutive term with 400 seats refering to its much hyped nara, which did not cut much ice in the first four phases across the country.
Nadda strongly criticized the Congress-led Sukhu government, accusing it of prioritizing personal interests and misallocating disaster relief funds from the central government.
"The people of Himachal Pradesh have completely rejected the Congress-led Sukhu government," he claimed.
He also launched a scathing attack on the INDI alliance, branding it a coalition of dynastic and corrupt parties.
"The INDI alliance is a union of dynastic parties without any regard for the public. While Modi preaches 'Bhrashtachar Hatao,' they advocate 'Bhrashtachari Bachao'.
The leaders of the "Ghamandia alliance" are either in jail or out on bail," Nadda said, referring to the legal troubles of several alliance leaders including AAP.
Highlighting Modi’s achievements, Nadda emphasized the transformation in Indian politics over the past decade. "Previously, politics revolved around caste, religion, and regionalism, driven by the principle of 'divide and rule'.
Since Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi came into power, Indian politics has embraced a single mantra: 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas'.
This shift has ushered in an era of development-oriented and performance-based politics, Nadda claimed.
Nadda also noted India's rise in global rankings and achievements in various sectors.
"Under the leadership of Narendra Modi India's economy has ascended from the 11th to the 5th position globally.
Morgan Stanley suggests that amidst global uncertainty, there is a ray of hope and that is India, Nadda said.
After Modi assumes office for the third time, India's economy is projected to rise to the third position globally."
However, Nadda avoided discussing the promise of doubling farmers' income and the initiative of ensuring "Hawaii Chappal wala traveling by air."
The exact impact of his rallies is yet to be determined.
In the evening, Nadda took a stroll on The Mall in Shimla with Jai Ram Thakur, Rajiv Bindal, Harsh Mahajan, and other BJP leaders.
