Modi Accuses Congress of Betraying Himachal, Highlights Ram Temple's Historic Ties to State... Kangana Presented a red rose to PM Mod on the rally stage in Mandi...
MANDI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a fierce attack on the Congress party during a massive rally in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, here today accusing it of betraying the state and failing to deliver on promises.
Modi highlighted the significance of Palampur, where the BJP had resolved to construct the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, calling Himachal "the land where the Ram Temple pledge was made."
“Himachal is the land of the Ram Temple resolution. The 500-year wait and struggle have ended because of your one vote,” said Modi, emphasizing that the construction of the Ram Temple was a long-awaited dream realized by the BJP.
Modi criticized Congress for being unhappy about the Ram Temple's progress. “Congress is not happy even as Himachal rejoices and our deities shower blessings,” he added, claiming that Congress would never have allowed the temple to be built.
The Prime Minister was confident about the BJP’s prospects in the upcoming elections, predicting another 4-0 victory for the party in Himachal.
“I see Himachal scoring a hat-trick again. The country is set to reject Congress for the third consecutive time,” he stated, urging the people to support the BJP.
Modi accused Congress of preferring a struggling India, with poverty and crises, and wanting to reverse the country's progress.
He also criticized the party for insulting actress Kangana Ranaut, who was present at the rally, calling it an insult to Mandi and all daughters of Himachal.
“Congress lives in the past century and opposes modern India’s progress. Their feudal mindset is anti-women,” Modi remarked.
He highlighted his frequent conversations with the Dalai Lama, positioning himself as a champion of India’s rich heritage, unlike Congress, which he described as fearful even to mention the Dalai Lama.
Leader of the Opposition Jairam Thakur echoed Modi’s sentiments, describing the rally’s massive turnout as a testament to the enduring "Modi magic." He predicted a sweeping victory for the BJP in the upcoming elections.
The rally also saw BJP’s Mandi candidate Kangana Ranaut receiving support alongside Modi, symbolizing the party’s unity and strength in the region.
