Supreme Court Collegium Clears Two Names for Himachal High Court Judgeship
Shimla, Sept 15 – The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the appointment of two advocates as judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court.
In a meeting held on September 15, 2025, the collegium cleared the names of Advocate Jiya Lal Bhardwaj and Advocate Romesh Verma for elevation to the bench.
The approval marks another step in filling up judicial vacancies in the Himachal Pradesh High Court, which has been grappling with a heavy caseload.
