HPCM Gives Relief to Flood Victims of Bilaspur

Bilaspur: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu distributed Rs 8.97 crore as compensation to 1162 disaster-affected families in Bilaspur under the 'Punrvaas' Scheme

The aid included Rs 3 lakh for 94 families with completely damaged homes, with varying amounts for other areas in the district.

The state government aims to rehabilitate all 16,000 affected families with a special package of Rs 4500 crore.

The government is providing free electricity and water connections, affordable cement for house construction, and is considering free TD for disaster-affected families.

Sukhu highlighted the state's economic challenges and efforts to revive it. He mentioned implementing the old pension scheme and sought support from BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda for 12% royalty in BBMB power projects.
