The spokesperson detailed that permissions were granted for promotions and postings across multiple departments, including the General Administration Department (GAD), Secretariat Administration Department (SAD), Police, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Home, Jal Shakti Department, Health & Family Welfare, and Himachal Pradesh Public Work Department (HPPWD).

Additional permissions were also approved for transfers and joining requests in the Education Department for TGTs, Information and Public Relations, HPPWD, and the Revenue Department.

The ECI also sanctioned resurfacing and tarring projects within Municipal Corporation limits in Shimla, along with inviting tenders for transporting food grains and essential commodities to tribal and inaccessible areas for 2024-25.

Further, open tenders were approved for transporting food grains from Food Corporation of India (FCI) godowns to Himachal Pradesh State Civil Supplies wholesale godowns and Fair Price Shops.

Major tenders concerning agricultural equipment, seeds, stationery for the High Court, biometric machines for the Urban Development Department, transport department supplies, educational dual desks, and materials for the General Industries Corporation were also sanctioned.

The ECI approved allowances for Judicial Officers, social security pensions for existing beneficiaries, outsourcing services of ex-servicemen, consultancy services for disaster management, and supplementary agreements for projects under the Swaran Jayanti Energy Policy 2021.

Additionally, funds were released under the Swachh Bharat Mission and the National Urban Digital Mission.

Permissions extended to the Pollution Control Board included processing consents for operating and renewing pollution certificates, and notifications for designating vending and non-vending zones in Solang special area.
