Congress Candidate Files Complaints Against Kangana Ranaut and BJP for Defamation.. and character assassination...
Shimla — Vikramaditya Singh, the Congress candidate for Mandi Lok Sabha, has lodged a formal complaint with the Election Commission of India and issued a legal notice against Kangana Ranaut, the BJP candidate.
Singh accuses Ranaut of making defamatory and personal attacks against his family from public platforms, aimed at damaging his reputation.
Singh has called on the Election Commission to take swift action against Ranaut, who he claims has been engaging in character assassination for political gain.
The Congress legal cell has supported Singh's complaint, stating that Ranaut's actions amount to a deliberate attempt to undermine Singh's public image.
In a second complaint, the Congress legal cell has also targeted the Leader of the Opposition, Jai Ram Thakur, accusing him of unnecessarily involving the Congress in the anti-Kangana Kaza episode.
They assert that Thakur’s actions are an attempt to politicize the issue and shift blame without any evidence of wrongdoing by the Congress party.
Singh and the Congress legal cell have demanded immediate action against both Ranaut and Thakur, emphasizing the need for accountability and fairness in the political arena.
