SHIMLA; A step towards a paperless governance, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu asserted that the government would digitize Himachal Pradesh's education department. The CM set a target of achieving this milestone by 31st August this year.

Presently, 184 citizen services from 34 departments and 71 services through Lok Mitra Kendras are already available to the public.
GIS mapping of schools and health institutions in Shimla district are being piloted.
