Shimla: As many as  five persons were killed and six others sustained serious injuries in a road accident near Alsindi, Karsog area of Mandi district today.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed profound grief over this tragic event and has extended his wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured.

The Chief Minister has instructed the relevant authorities to offer every possible support to the families of the deceased and ensure the best medical treatment for the injured.

He also offered prayers for the souls of the departed and strength for the grieving families.
