Srinagar:  In a tragic incident in the Thanamandi area of the Rajouri sector, four  Army personnel have lost their lives, and three others sustained injuries during a terrorist attack on two military vehicles.

The targeted troops were en route to reinforce a joint anti-terror operation underway in the 48 Rashtriya Rifles area since last evening.

Swiftly responding to the assault, Indian Army forces retaliated against the assailants.

The terrorists escaped into the jungles. The army has launched operation to nab the terrorists.
