SHIMLA: The residents of Kagnadhar, led by ward councillor Ram Ratan Verma, extended a helping hand to those affected by the recent natural disaster in Himachal. A sum of Rs 5.22 Lakh was raised and presented to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for the Aapda Raahat Kosh-2023.
The Chief Minister lauded this act of compassion by the Kagnadhar residents and specifically highlighted the efforts of Ward Councillor Verma.
Delegation was accompanied by Naresh Chauhan from the Residents Welfare Association and Naveen Sharma and others, Verma presented the Cheque to Chief Minister at his official residence Oakover today.
In response, Verma expressed his gratitude to the residents for their cooperation and assistance in this noble cause that would provide aid to those affected by the recent calamity in Himachal.
