SHIMLA: In the highly anticipated Mandi Lok Sabha constituency battle, the voter turnout has been remarkable.

With Congress’ Vikramaditya Singh facing off against BJP's Kangana Ranaut, the competition is fierce.

Polling stations saw a high level of engagement across the board. Here's a snapshot of the voter turnout in key areas:

- In **Lahaul and Spiti**, 39,159 cast their votes, marking a turnout of about 76.09%.

- Spiti region  had 12,604 votes, with a notable turnout of 73.12%.

- In the **Karsog segment**, 38,033 people voted, showcasing an active participation rate.

- The **Anni segment** saw  a very high turnout percentage of 74%.

In the **Rampur segment**, an impressive 61,317 votes were recorded, translating to 74.13%, and the **Sundernagar segment** had 30,328 votes, with a participation rate of 72.68%.

Other segments showed similar enthusiasm:

- **Chachyot segment** recorded 61,317 votes with a turnout of 74.13%.

- **Balh segment** saw 45,643 votes, with a turnout of 73.12%.

- **Mandi segment** recorded 33,034 votes, showing a 74.13% turnout.

Notably, in the three tribal areas and Kullu district, Vikramaditya Singh seemed to have an edge. His support base appears strong in these regions, reflecting his connection with the local electorate. 

Conversely, in the Mandi segment, BJP's Kangana Ranaut appeared to have an upper hand. This can be attributed to the influence of former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, who hails from the Saraj region, boosting her support significantly in that area.

The turnout indicates a very engaged electorate. Overall, it's clear that voters in the Mandi constituency are highly invested in this election, showing a keen interest in choosing between Vikramaditya Singh of the Congress and Kangana Ranaut of the BJP. With such high engagement, the results will undoubtedly reflect the voters' strong will.
