SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh's Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has announced the upcoming establishment of a fresh Recruitment Commission.
This marks the conclusion of the former Himachal Pradesh State Staff Selection Commission.
The Deepak Shanan Committee presented a comprehensive strategy for the new commission's structure, he said.
The focus is on a transparent, fair, and merit-based selection process, eliminating concerns of leaks and irregularities, CM said while presiding over the meeting.
The new system aims to reduce human intervention during exams to ensure integrity.
Employing modern tools for crafting exam papers is intended to streamline the process and curb corruption.
Recruitment procedures will commence after setting up the new Selection Commission, CM claimed.
The move to dissolve the prior Commission is rooted in the commitment to address corruption.
Deepak Shanan, Committee Chairman, submitted a detailed report on the Commission's functions.
The meeting was attended by Education Minister Rohit Thakur and Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena.
