Shimla: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu unveiled the Auto-DCR (Developments Control Regulation) Building Permission System, simplifying the process for scrutinizing and approving building plans.
This new system, the Chief Minister explained, aims to bring transparency and accountability to the building permit process.
One key feature is that registered architects can now approve residential building construction up to 500 square meters, easing the burden on applicants.
Starting today, applicants can apply online through the DCR system on http://www.hptcp.hp.gov.in in planning areas and six Urban Local Bodies: MC Shimla, Solan, Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh Development Authority (BBNDA), Municipal Council Theog, Baddi, and Nagar panchayat Arki.
The Chief Minister said this move will streamline the building permit process, saving time and effort for all involved.
