Shimla: The Shimla Flying Festival & Hospitality Expo 2024 is back, bigger and bolder, from October 16-19 at The Glide Inn, Junga.

This second edition will feature none other than The Great Khali, India's wrestling icon, as the star attraction, adding unmatched excitement to the event.

Organized by the Tourism Department of Himachal Pradesh, District Administration, and MSME Solan, this festival blends adventure sports, business exhibitions, and tourism into one mega event.

Thrilling Paragliding Action The Paragliding Spot Landing Championship is the headline act, with pilots from all over India competing for ₹4.8 lakhs in prizes.

The competition, set against Shimla's rugged backdrop, promises high-stakes action.

"This year, we’ve expanded the festival with a focus on boosting local tourism and business opportunities," said Rajeev Rawat, the event’s lead organizer.

Business Meets Adventure Alongside the thrills, the expo will showcase products from kitchen equipment to handicrafts and wellness goods.

MSME schemes offer up to 100% subsidies for exhibitors, making this a prime opportunity for businesses to shine.

Seminars and workshops will bring industry experts to share insights, offering valuable networking and learning opportunities.

The Great Khali Steals the Show The Great Khali will electrify the event with fan interactions and special activities, drawing massive crowds and adding star power to the festival.

Shimla’s Tourism Boost With hotel owners, homestay operators, travel consultants, and adventure lovers converging, the festival is a huge boost for Shimla’s economy.

It’s the perfect platform for tourism and adventure sports, making Shimla the place to be this October, said organizers.
