Himachal Pradesh Finance and Accounts Services (HPFA&S) celebrated its golden jubilee celebration today saying that the services have ensured financial discipline in the state.
Spokesperson said the Finance and Accounts Services came into existence in 1971 and successfully completed its glorious fifty years by way of contributing its services to the state.
Additional chief secretary (finance) to the government, chief guest released a “souvenir”. He appreciated the contribution made by this service ensuring the financial discipline in the respective departments.
He also honoured the retirees of the services, who shared their experiences while serving in the cadre. The services also hold its annual general meet of the association in which its new executive body was elected unanimously.
Rajesh Sharma, president expressed his gratitude to the the chief guest and thanked the retirees for attending the celebrations.
