Hailing the decisive victory of BJP in four states, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the election results strongly vindicate BJP’s pro- poor and proactive governance. People could get basic amenities such as electricity gas and water, he said.
Modi said on social media that the BJP karyakartas had promised him that the Holi celebrations will start on March 10th this year. They have kept their promise, they worked 24x7 and party was successful in winning the trust of people across the four states, he said.
Addressing the victory celebrations at BJP headquarters in New Delhi Prime Minister said the results strongly vindicate BJP’s pro- poor and proactive governance. People could get basic amenities such as electricity gas and water, he said.
Modi said that the people of the states have showered blessings on the BJP to continue in the office. Time has come to join hands not to waste even in single moment, the challenges may be howsoever big, but the winning streak is even higher and bigger. We have to carry forward these resolve to be with dreams to take the country ahead for a bright future of the country, he added.
Modi said in all five states that went to the polls our party’s karrakatta worked tirelessly among the people. They spoke about our good governance agenda and highlighted over pro people efforts. “I salute each of every party worker for the exceptional efforts. From sea to the mountains, BJP has got blessings of the people from all four sides, he said.
BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda said that since the formation of the state, people of Uttarakhand have voted back the BJP government in the state, creating a history for the first time in the state. Nadda gave cried to the policies and programmes of the Modi government and BJP governments n the states and karyakartas who worked day and night to ensure victory and growing faith of people in the BJP governments.
In Uttarakhand BJP won 47 seats, Congress won 18 seats, BSP opened its account by winning one seat out of 70 seats in the state. But BJP Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami lost election from Khatima. Former Congress Chief Minister Harish Rawat also lost the elections Dhaulikua. This is an indication that the people are not happy with their style of leadership and governance as they failed to deliver as per expectations of the people and thus voted them out of power to seek better faces for the top post, said analysts.
