Shimla: In a recent meeting, the State Cabinet approved several decisions.
Led by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the Cabinet gave the green light to the selection of JOA (IT) Code-817 and authorized the Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog to declare the results.
Cabinet decided to fill 113 driver positions in the Home Guards and Civil Defence Department, and 50 clerk positions in the H.P. Secretariat through direct recruitment.
Furthermore, they agreed to convert part-time class-IV workers in various government departments to daily wagers after seven years of service.
The Cabinet also allocated free power to HPSEBL as determined by the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission, established a Himachal Police Cyber Lab, and decided to open a Deputy Superintendent of Police office in Indora, Kangra district.
Moreover, they planned to open a new Sub Divisional Police Office in Chowari, Chamba district, and upgrade the Police Post in Sihunta, Chamba district to a Police Station.
Lastly, the Cabinet approved the opening of a new Police Post at Hatli under the Chowari Police Station, Chamba district."
