SHIMLA: Four people were killed in a road accident near Minus bridge on the Vikas Nagar- Guma- Nerwa road today morning when the private car they were traveling in fell into a 300 meter deep gorge and landed on the bank of Tons River.
According to the police the car was on its way from Vikas Nagar to Nerwa in Chopal subdivision of Shimla district when the accident took place.
The efforts to retrieve the bodies, which yet to be identified, are on, said the police.
The spot is located in deep inaccessible gorge. It was a local resident who was first to reach to the victims who were all dead, police said.
There was no eyewitness to the accident so far.
