Harsh Mahajan Meets PM Modi, Highlights Need for New National Highways in Himachal Pradesh.
New Delhi, December 12, 2024: Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan, who created political ripples by defeating Congress stalwart Abhishek Manu Singhvi in the February 2023 Rajya Sabha elections, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi today to discuss critical developmental needs for Himachal Pradesh.
During the meeting, Mahajan emphasized the urgent requirement for new National Highways connecting Chamba, Tissa, Pangi, Kishtwar, and Leh.
He highlighted how these proposed highways would not only ease transportation in the remote and challenging terrains but also significantly accelerate the overall development of the region.
Prime Minister Modi extended his warm wishes to Mahajan on his birthday, lauding his commitment to the state’s progress.
The PM also appreciated Mahajan’s proactive approach in addressing issues that directly impact the people of Himachal Pradesh.

Seen as a key strategist and a senior leader, Mahajan continues to strengthen his position as a new force in the state’s politics and within BJP.
