SHIMLA: Chief Secretary Ram Subhag Singh reviewed preparation for forthcoming visit of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 31st May, 2022 for a National Level Programme.

He said the proposed National Level Programme would be organised at Shimla and a public rally would take place on the Ridge, Shimla.

Chief Secretary informed that the Governments have undertaken a multitude of schemes catering to the diverse needs of the needy.

He said that during the National Level programme, the Prime Minister would virtually interact with beneficiaries of 11 such selected schemes, which would include beneficiaries of 773 districts from across the nation, including 12 districts of Himachal Pradesh.

As many as 40 beneficiaries of each selected scheme would join the interactive session with the Prime Minister.

He said that the 11 selected scheme include Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna, Poshan Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojna, Swachh Bharat Mission, Jal Jeevan Mission & Amrut, Pradhan Mantri SVANidhi Scheme, One Nation One Ration Card, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojna, Ayushman Bharat PM Jan Arogya Yojna, Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centre and Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojna.

He also informed that the Prime Minister would also release the 11th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna during the programme.

Chief Secretary directed the concerned line departments to ensure proper arrangements and to make all out efforts to ensure success of the event. He said that digital screens would be installed at state head quarter, district head quarters and Krishi Vigyan Kendra to ensure participation of the beneficiaries.

Administrative secretaries and HoDs of concerned departments were also present on the occasion.
