In Lahaul-Spiti, temperatures have dipped as low as -10°C in high-altitude areas, with similar subzero readings reported in Ladakh.
Zojila Pass had got snow last week that has made roads slippery.
The India Meteorological Department predicts dry weather for the region, though icy conditions continue to pose challenges.
Traffic Updates:
1. Kargil-Srinagar (Zoji La Pass): Vehicles equipped with anti-skid chains are permitted to travel:
From Minamarg to Sonamarg between 7:30 AM and 11:30 AM.
From Sonamarg to Minamarg between 1:30 PM and 7:00 PM. No vehicles will be allowed beyond the cutoff timings.
