Dehradun: In the wake of the recent incident in Banbhoolpur, where a woman was injured, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Mr. Dhami, visited the area today to assess the situation firsthand.
Expressing concern over the incident, CM Dhami emphasized the need for swift and decisive action.
He stated, "Those who have violated the law and caused damage to government property will be identified, and the due process of law will be followed."
The incident, which involved injuries to a woman and reportedly included members of the police force, administration officials, municipal employees, and journalists, has sparked outrage in the state.
CM Dhami assured the public that all available video footage and evidence would be examined thoroughly to ensure that those responsible are held accountable for their actions.
"We will not tolerate any breach of law and order," stated CM Dhami, reaffirming the government's commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region.
The Chief Minister's visit comes as a reassurance to the residents of Haldwani and surrounding areas, who have been deeply troubled by the incident.
