 The prize money has been raised from ₹50,00,000 to ₹3,00,00,000 for gold, ₹30,00,000 to ₹2,00,00,000 for silver, and ₹20,00,000 to ₹1,00,00,000 for bronze.

Addressing the Budget session, CM Sukhu emphasized the importance of equal distribution, stating, 'Each player will receive an equal share of the prize money, ensuring fair representation.'

Additionally, plans for sports infrastructure development were unveiled, including the construction of multiple indoor stadiums and sports complexes across the state.

The initiative aims to support athletes and encourage participation in sports events both within and outside the state. Sukhu also pledged financial support for players participating in state and national-level competitions, with increased stipends for those residing in sports hostels.

The announcement reflects the government's commitment to promoting sports and nurturing talent in Himachal Pradesh."
