Ministry of Jal Shakti has constituted the National Committee on Dam Safety (NCDS) under the Dam Safety Act, 2021 that will look after the safety and security and other issues of over 141 dams all over the country.
SHIMLA: IN an ongoing crack down on the liquor mafia, the state taxes and excise teams recovered 1189 bulk ltrs of alcohol, 532 bulk ltrs of denatured spirits, 19 drums and 29 boxes of illicit liquor from various locations in 29 different cases across the state.
