Shimla: The government is gearing up for the 'Delhi Haat' extravaganza, set to kick off on December 16th.
Himachal Pradesh Himcraft Corporation plans to showcase its craftsmanship with 35 stalls, joined by HIMCOSTE with 5 stalls and the State Rural Livelihood Mission with 20 stalls.
Additionally, 5 stalls will tantalize visitors with Himachali Dham delights.
Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena chaired a meeting, urging artisans to connect with Himcraft's Managing Director to secure a spot at Dilli Haat.
A committee will decide participants based on their expertise.
Each stall, accommodating two persons, will receive Rs. 3000 for daily expenses.
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla anticipates inaugurating on December 18th, with Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu as the Chief Guest on the event's culmination on December 30th, 2023.
The Language, Art, and Culture department will orchestrate cultural troupes throughout the 15-day spectacle.
