SHIMLA: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has formed its "Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti" in Himachal Pradesh to address and take forward issues such as the controversial illegal Sanjauli Masjid and other similar matters to their logical conclusion.
According to VHP, this is part of their broader effort to uphold the sanctity of Devbhoomi (the land of gods) and ensure that such contentious structures are dealt with through legal and constitutional means.
The DSS's new executive has followed after HP police booked 50 activists of the Sanjauli illegal Masjid protests.
VHP has vowed to provide fee legal aid to them.

Its marg Darshak Mandal include Swami Yoganand Ji Maharaj, Swami Dayanand Bharti, Swami Tanmahimand Maharaj, Swami Dheeranand Ji Maharj, and Swami Gargi Bharti. The Samiti's Sanrakshak Brig L C Jaswal(Retd) Col Daulat Singh(Retd) convener Bharat Bhushan Co-convenor Vijay Sharma and Madan Thakur.
Its secretary and co-secretary are Vijendrapal Singh and co-secretary is BM Joshi. There are other members as well.
The committee will push for action in line with these objectives, focusing on resolving illegal Masjids while preserving the cultural heritage of Himachal.
