Vikramaditya Singh Condemns Kangana Ranaut’s Remarks on Farmers’ Protest, Demands Apology...
Shimla – PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh has strongly condemned the recent remarks made by Mandi MP and actor Kangana Ranaut regarding the farmers' protest in Haryana. Singh called her statements "reckless and misinformed," dismissing her allegations about the involvement of the USA and China in the unrest as "ludicrous" and "detached from reality."
“Kangana Ranaut’s baseless claims showcase her intellectual bankruptcy,” Singh asserted, emphasizing that as an elected representative of the Mandi parliamentary segment, she should exercise restraint when speaking on such sensitive issues.
He further suggested that the Union Government, particularly the Ministry of External Affairs, should address her statements, which, according to him, undermine the nation's foreign policy.
Singh also criticized Ranaut's remarks as an insult to the farmers, a segment of society that has long been struggling and making sacrifices.
"With the Prime Minister having already rolled back the controversial laws against farmers, her statement is unacceptable," Singh added. He demanded an apology from Ranaut for her "insensitive and divisive" comments.
