Shimla: Congress Wins Four, BJP Takes Two in Assembly By-Elections..

But BJP won one Badsar and Congress won Sujanpur thereby suffered a loss of one seat in the Hamirpur district, home District of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.

Congress lost two seats and its tally came down from 49 to 38, but strong enough to  withstand the operation lotus..

Congress showed good showing in Una retaining its two seats. Bjp suffered a big shock in Lahaul Spiti where  Congress young Candidate Anuradha Rana trounced BJP Ravi Thakur, a turncoat, who cMe a poor third. 

The voters taught a lesson to the Dal Badlu as only Inderdutt Lakhanpal and Sudhir Sharma won their seast. 

In the recent by-elections for six Assembly Constituencies in Himachal Pradesh, the Congress bagged four seats while the BJP secured two, according to an Election Department spokesperson.

- **Dharamshala**: BJP's Sudhir Sharma won with 28,066 votes, defeating Congress's Devender Singh Jaggi, who got 22,540 votes. Independent candidates Rakesh Chaudhary and Satish Kumar received 10,770 and 422 votes, respectively, while 482 voters chose NOTA.

- **Lahaul-Spiti**: Congress's Anuradha Rana emerged victorious with 9,414 votes, beating Independent candidate Dr. Ram Lal Markanda, who garnered 7,454 votes. BJP's Ravi Thakur received 3,049 votes, and 76 voters opted for NOTA.

  

- **Sujanpur**: Congress's Captain Ranjit Singh Rana secured 29,529 votes, defeating BJP's Rajender Singh Rana, who got 27,089 votes. NCP's Ravinder Singh Dogra received 334 votes, with other Independent candidates getting fewer votes. NOTA was chosen by 241 voters.

- **Kutlehar**: Congress's Vivek Sharma won with 35,728 votes, defeating BJP's Devender Kumar Bhutto, who got 30,841 votes. Independent candidates Chanchal Singh and Rajiv Sharma received 290 and 228 votes, respectively, while 337 voters selected NOTA.

- **Gagret**: Congress's Rakesh Kalia secured 35,768 votes, beating BJP's Chaitanya Sharma, who received 27,281 votes. Independent candidates Amit Vashisht, Ashok Sonkhala, and Manohar Lal Sharma got 570, 323, and 288 votes, respectively, and 606 voters chose NOTA.

- **Barsar**: BJP's Inder Dutt Lakhanpal won with 33,086 votes, defeating Congress's Subhash Chand, who got 30,961 votes. Independent candidate Vishal Kumar received 452 votes, and 323 voters opted for NOTA.

Now on the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu  government has ti do a soul searching not giving chance to Bjp to punch holes in its MLAs going belligerent.
