Shimla, 26th August 2024: Ahead of the Monsoon Session of the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha set to begin on August 27, Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania made a strong appeal to all MLAs to contribute constructively to the session.
Addressing the media after a party meeting held at the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat at 12:15 PM, Pathania emphasized the importance of the session, which will span 10 meetings.
"This session is crucial, and I urge all members to make the best use of the time available to discuss issues that impact the public," Pathania stated.
He assured that ample time would be provided for any subject brought up in the House, and stressed the responsibility of the members to engage in meaningful discussions.
Pathania revealed that a total of 936 questions had been submitted by the members for the session, with 640 starred questions and 296 unstarred.
