Solan: In a fiery address at a public meeting in Dharampur, here Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh took aim at the Leader of the Opposition, Jai Ram Thakur, accusing him of attempting to destabilize the democratically elected Congress government.
Accompanied by Col Dr Dhani Ram Shandil, CPS Surendra Awasthi in Dharampur, Sukhu declared that the BJP's "Operation Lotus" had faltered in its bid to overthrow the Congress government.
Singh denounced those who defected from the Congress, asserting that they had betrayed both the party and the people who had entrusted them with power to serve them.
He dedicated and initiated projects worth Rs 88 Crore in Dharampur.
He lambasted the rebel MLAs, emphasizing that their actions had not only betrayed the Congress but had also let down the electorate in their respective constituencies.
The Chief Minister asserted that the BJP's strategy to disrupt the government had backfired, highlighting the party's hunger for power and failure to recognize the electorate's rejection of them in the previous regime.
