Mandi: The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi marked its 15th Foundation Day with grandeur and a vision for the future.
Dr. Samir V. Kamat, Secretary DD (R&D) and Chairman of DRDO, graced the event as the Chief Guest, joined by esteemed dignitaries including Shri G. A. Srinivasa Murthy, DS and Director, Defence Research & Development Laboratory, and Shri Manoj Jain, Director R&D, Bharat Electronics Limited.

In the past year, IIT Mandi secured significant funding for research projects and consultancy, while also earning accolades for its green initiatives.
The institute received Rs. 29.62 crores through 63 sponsored projects and Rs. 2.21 crores through 47 consultancy projects in 2023.
Moreover, its proactive engagement in environmental conservation earned it the prestigious Green University Award at COP-28.
The institute's global presence was highlighted through academic exchange programs and industry partnerships, furthering collaboration with esteemed institutions worldwide.
