SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said the new era of reforms has begun in the state as people of the state have rallied behind the mission to make Himachal self-reliant by 2027.
Sukhu said the present government inherited debt worth Rs 85000 crore and pending arrears worth Rs 10,000 Crore from the previous government.
It is not that we don't have money. what we are doing is making people realize the importance of fiscal discipline, he said.
Speaking to the media, Chief Minister said, "We have come to transform the face of the state.
A self-reliant Himachal is our vision, and we have already begun taking steps to make this dream a reality.
Employees who were once neglected are now receiving the respect and recognition they deserve, he said.
The entire state has rallied together for the progress of Devbhoomi. The public's cooperation and support have been unprecedented, hexsaud.
Positive changes are now being felt in every section and every region.
People are saying that due to the changes in the system, our state is becoming better than other hill states, he said.
A new era has begun, where every voice is being heard, and every dream is being pursued."
