Voices of Grief Echo as Three Missing Girls of deluge-hit Samej Vanish in Flood.. Tragic Trio were the Diamonds of Samej Village.
SAMEJ (RAMPUR)- This tiny deluge-scarred Samej Village is shrouded in grief of unknown proportions.
The residents struggle to come to terms with the disappearance of three bright young girls, Radhika, Anjali, and Ritika, swept away by a sudden deluge.
The tragic event unfolded on the night of July 31, when the raging waters descended from the revered Srikhand Mahadev mountain, engulfing the sleeping village in wee hours.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the Shimla district administration are tirelessly working to locate the missing girls.
But will they emerge from the massive flood wreckage like a Phoenix?
For villagers these beautiful Trio were their treasured diamonds.
They were the students of Samaj School. They were champions as they had recently led their institution to victory, becoming overall champions in the under-19 competition this year.
Their achievements had made them the pride of the village, and their sudden absence has left a void that appears impossible to fill.
In the village, grief is palpable. Relatives and friends mourn the loss, clinging to hope and memories associated with those 32 including three girls who virtually disappeared into thin air.
Radhika's relative her voice choked with emotion, shared, "They were our diamonds, our hope. How can they just disappear like this?"
Tears stream down faces as villagers recount the girls' accomplishments and the joy they brought to their village.
"We cannot believe they are gone," said one villager, his voice heavy with sorrow.
"One night, they went to bed, and now we are praying for a miracle, hoping they will walk back into the village."
The tragedy has cast a long shadow over Samej, a place now filled with the haunting sounds of weeping and whispered prayers.
As search efforts continue, the survivors of the Samej deluge holds onto faith, desperately wishing for the safe return of their beloved daughters.
