Shimla: Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh announced today the sanctioning of Rs 15 crore for the upgradation and maintenance of roads across various districts.
Highlighting specific allocations, Singh noted that Rs 3 crore each has been allocated for crucial routes including Bagchaal to Talai via Kalol road in Hamirpur district, Sainj-Chopal-Nerwa-Fediz road in Shimla district, Manpur to Seraj road in Mandi district, Dhameta to Barsar road, and Badsar to Shahtalai road in Hamirpur district.
In addition to road maintenance, Singh also disclosed administrative approval for around Rs 1.74 crore under the Chief Minister Urban Livelihood Guarantee Mission to support various urban local bodies.
Further emphasizing the government's commitment to infrastructure development, Singh revealed the release of Rs 50 crore for the procurement of machinery and equipment.
Singh reiterated the state government's dedication to enhancing road infrastructure, affirming that adequate funds are consistently being allocated to strengthen roads, bridges, and other vital infrastructure projects.
