Shimla, May 1: Bringing curtains down on her five-day sojourn in Himachal Pradesh, Droupadi Murmu on Friday visited the Headquarters of the Army Training Command (ARTRAC) in Shimla before departing for Delhi.
The President, who is also the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, was received by Kavinder Gupta and Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, ARTRAC.
During her visit, the President was briefed on the evolution and expanding role of ARTRAC in shaping the operational readiness of the Indian Army.
