Clear Skies Bring Relief in Himachal, Tourists Flock as Monsoon Retreats
Shimla, September 10: After weeks of fluctuating rains and clouded skies, Himachal Pradesh finally breathed a sigh of relief on Wednesday with the weather clearing up across the state.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported no major changes in temperatures, with most stations recording near-normal or slightly above-normal readings.
The lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Keylong (8.6°C), while Paonta Sahib sizzled at 34°C, the highest maximum.
Light to moderate showers were reported at a few stations — Brahmani (8.2 mm), Jogindernagar (8.0 mm), Kangra (7.5 mm), and Dharamshala (7.0 mm).
With the monsoon showing signs of retreat, farmers, hoteliers, and the public alike have heaved a sigh of relief.
“The rains had slowed down farm operations and hit tourist arrivals. Clear weather is a big blessing now,” said hoteliers.
Tourist inflow is likly to pick up in Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala, and Dalhousie. The groups of Foreigners are arriving in Shimla.
According to the Met Centre, Shimla, average minimum temperatures remain slightly above normal while maximum temperatures are in the normal range.
No significant weather activity is expected in the coming days, except for isolated thunderstorms in Kangra and Palampur.
With blue skies back, Himachal is gearing up for a late tourist rush before the autumn chill sets in.
