The IMD has predicted another wet spell from December 27 to 29. Here’s what to expect:
- Snowfall: Light to moderate snowfall over high, mid, and adjoining low hills from December 27 evening. Tourist hubs like Shimla city are likely to see a few snowy spells, particularly on December 28.
- Rain: Light to moderate rain is expected in the plains and low hills on December 27 and 28.
- Thunderstorms: Isolated thunderstorms with lightning could hit the low and mid hills during the evening of December 27 and continue till December 28.
- Fog and Cold Wave: While dense fog and severe cold persist in some regions, relief is expected from December 27, lasting 3-4 days.
